The Wauchope and Port Macquarie communities lost another great man after the passing of well known dentist Dr Vispi Davar.

Dr Davar came to Wauchope in 1969 to work with Dr Peter Clark and when Dr Clarke retired Vispi took over the practice.
In 1974 Dr Michael Heagney joined the practice later they became partners and in 1990 opened another practice in Port Macquarie this partnership continued until Michaels Illness caused him to retire.
In 2006 Vispi sold both the practices to Dr Peter Elfar. Vispi continued to work casually until he retired in 2014.
Vispi was an active member of his community being a member of Apex in Wauchope for many years and a member of Lifeline in Port Macquarie for 11 years.
Vispi passed away on 7th January 2016 after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife Marlene, daughters Armeen, Yasmin and Shireen, stepsons Michael, David and Paul, sister Thirty, brother Adi, sister-in-law Freyni and their families.
Dr Vispi's funeral was conducted at St Agnes Catholic Church Port Macquarie on January 15 2016. It was combination of Zorostrian Funeral Prayers and a Blessing by Father Donnelly.
Vispi will be sadly missed by his many past patients and people he employed over the last 45years.
All Sundial Dental Surgeries were closed Friday January 15 as a mark of respect.
