Along with Wauchope teams, the competition includes teams from South West Rocks, Upper Macleay, Lower Macleay, Kempsey, Port Macquarie and Laurieton.
Hastings Co-op marketing and communications manager Tim Walker said the opportunity to get involved in local sports sponsorship was a new avenue for the Co-op.
"The Hastings Co-op has a reputation for supporting local producers across the spectrum, but getting behind a local sporting organisation is something very new and refreshing for us to consider," Mr Walker said.
"We are always keen to get behind local events, and this sponsorship - where we have the naming rights to an entire competition - is another string to our bow.
"Significantly, the competition sits well with our marketing focus and our reach into the community too. So it really is a double win from our perspective."
Football Mid North Coast general manager Peter Daniels said the sponsorship was a great example of how Hastings Co-op was heavily involved in its community.
"The naming rights sponsorship to both the Men's Northern League and Women's Northern League competitions is a great decision by the Co-op and will provide ongoing exposure to a broad market," he said.
"This is a great partnership and we look forward to seeing excellent results."
Along with the football sponsorship, Hastings Co-op will celebrate its centenary year of operations with a range of community celebrations.
The Northern League competitions get underway in April and culminate in grand finals in September.
