Viv Watts made his last public appearance at the Wauchope Woodchop earlier this month and just as he did at his first show, he won an award.
North Coast Association says Viv is a true legend, an excellent axeman, a handicapper of note and a log getter and trimmer.
"He's been a colourful figure at all times, and has definitely made his mark on the sport," says a spokesman.
