Over the past six years, children, teachers and parents have been creating a school garden to provide an interactive outdoor learning experience.
"They now have four raised beds stocked with fruit and vegetables, a fruit orchard, a watering system and a herb garden.
"Volunteer parents and children oversee the planting, watering and maintenance, and students have tried a variety of interesting fruit and veg, and run a produce stall," says P & C President, Leanne Farrington.
To extend the garden and build a covered learning area with an outdoor kitchen, they need to raise $8,000.
They've launched a Buy A Brick scheme. Each brick with an engraved plaque costs just $10 and will be used to build the Outdoor Learning Area.
