Sunday’s cupcake day was also William’s fifth birthday. It also marked the 654th day since he went missing.
Where’s William? campaign member Karlee Butler, along with her mum, nan and two other committee representatives, hosted the event in Port Central.
“We sold out in just a few hours,” Miss Butler said. “It was just a wonderful response from the community.”
All proceeds from the successful stall will be donated to the Where’s William? organisation who are dedicated to bringing William home.
Along with her family, Miss Butler searched for the little boy the first day out in the bush and then continued to help throughout the search efforts.
