She described her business as a dance studio with a difference and said there were many benefits to balancing business and motherhood.

“I started Port Macquarie Performing Arts to impact the lives of the next generation of young people growing up in our community including my two children.
“I want to inspire our dancers to be the best version of themselves possible,” she said.
The AusMumpreneur Awards presented by The AusMumpreneur Network celebrate and recognise Australian Mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation.
The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
In the judged categories finalists are selected by a panel of judges based on responses to questions. The top 10 finalists are then required to be interviewed in Melbourne on Saturday August 13 and winners and place getters in each category are determined by a panel of 3 independent judges.
People’s Choice finalists are determined by the first round of public voting. The top ten nominees with the most votes in each category become finalists. Votes are then reset to zero for the final round of voting.

The winners of the 2016 St George Banking Group AusMumpreneur Awards will be announced at a glamorous Awards dinner at Crown Casino, Melbourne on August 14, 2016.
