The finalists of the 2016 Holiday Coast Credit Union Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards have been announced.
The Wauchope area’s strong representation in terms of the total number of nominees indicates the level of enthusiasm and professionalism evident among our business owners and managers.
Chad and Rosemary Spradbrow are delighted their business CS Mechanical Repairs and Services, has made the finalist list, after just two years in business.
“Our greatest achievement so far would be the relationships we have formed with our customers,” Chad said.
In 2015 Bennett Steel and Tanya Simmons were finalists in no less than six award categories. Tanya went on to win the Woman in Business and Excellence in Small Business awards, and she remains a strong advocate for the awards and the benefits they provide.
Tanya said it was a team effort. “Our success in the awards seems to have cemented our reputation and added a new layer of trust and credibility.”
“The changes to the voting process and the judging this year means the awards are a truer reflection of our best business achievers, and are not so much based on popularity,” she added.
The 2016 Holiday Coast Credit Union Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Port Panthers on Friday August 19.
Winners from some award categories will proceed as finalists to the regional NSW Business Chamber awards and then may possibly progress to the state awards.
