Thousands of food lovers, families and holidaymakers converged on the beachside event much to the delight of organiser Maureen Shaw.
Food vendors were pushed to the limit serving the hungry hordes and parking around the vicinity of Town Beach was at capacity.
Riley Paige entertained the crowd while Breakwall HQ kept the coffee hot and flowing.
Mrs Shaw said Port Macquarie had the right demographic for a twilight food market and Town Beach park reserve was the ideal location near the water and a children’s park
“I give Saturday night a 10 out of 10,” Mrs Shaw said. “And the feedback I have received so far has been amazing. But I want more Port Macquarie food vendors.
“I spent months visiting markets and Tastings on Hastings to get them on board. This is your market Port Macquarie, keep the money here in your town.”
Visitors have rated the event with nothing but positive feedback.
“This market will grow. I know there are some sensational multicultural cooks here.”
The Twilight Food Market – Port Macquarie will run every Saturday night through to April 15.
