All proceeds will go to those families directly impacted by the Pappinbarra bush fires.
The donations will help to rebuild homes destroyed and damaged by the fire and to help replace the possessions of residents who lost everything.
The Rotary Club of Wauchope have kicked off the appeal with a $500 donation.
Wauchope Rotary Club urges the community to support the appeal to help families who have lost homes, possession, livestock, paddocks and feed.
Neville Parsons of Rotary said that financial support, and giving, together with our incredible sense of community will help get victims through the horror and heartache of losing everything.
“Right now what is going to help get people through this difficult time is knowing there is so much support and help from our community.
“Our community has already supported with tremendous offers of food, clothing, animal feed and accommodation,” he said.
“We are aware that many in the community are already looking at how they can support financially and or with donations in kind.”
Lifeline Mid Coast has offered help to support those who have been affected and can be reached by contacting Di Bannister on 6581 2800.
“It's just fantastic to see how strong this community is and how everyone is rallying to help each other,” added Mr Parsons.
