The producer of Foxtel's critically-acclaimed drama The Kettering Incident is developing a new drama series, The Gloaming. Vicki Madden will set her new series in Tasmania, revisiting the location of The Kettering Incident. The Gloaming is about two police detectives who collaborate on a murder investigation. It is being written by Madden and will be produced by Madden and John Molloy. A summary released by Screen Australia noted the two cops "must overcome the shared grief of their personal history to pursue a killer whose ritualistic crimes re-open the wounds of the past." The project has been funded as part of a $1 million package of TV and online development funding.
