How does a community thank such selfless people?
Words cannot express the admiration for the endless hot hours these crews worked for others risking their own lives to save the lives and possessions of others.
On behalf of our community, I would especially like to thank, give gratitude and praise to all the firefighters, volunteers and emergency service workers who work so hard to make this region safe.
Thank you for your dedication and service, we are fortunate to live in such a supportive community.
Community Fun Day at Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium
Council is inviting our community to celebrate the opening of the expanded Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium at a Fun Day on Saturday, February 25.
Come along between 9am and noon, to check out the wonderful new facilities.
Try some of the sports and enjoy a free sausage sizzle, and jumping castle for the kids.
This centre belongs to the Port Macquarie-Hastings community and the open day is a great opportunity to see and try all the sports on offer.
There’ll be a junior multisport clinic with different sporting groups available on the day to answer any questions you may have.
Lucky door prizes, competitions and demonstrations will take place throughout the morning, and the whole family is welcome.
Drop in for five minutes, or stay for the entire morning.
Council is proud to deliver this great sporting facility on behalf of our community.
I look forward to you joining me as we get active and have some fun on Saturday.
For more information contact the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium on 6583 2501.
