They include five from the Hastings, three from the Manning, and two from Macleay. 

General discussion was held over the concept of a premier league earlier this year.

Some of the issues discussed included how the competition draw would work, the turf and umpire fees, playing conditions and hours, as well as registration fees.

A special meeting will be held on May 1 at 6.30pm at the Laurieton United Services Club to continuing planning. At this meeting it is proposed to resolve all outstanding issues, with all delegates and interested players club officials are invited.

Macquarie Hotel captain Josh Hyde said it was a great idea that he hoped would come to fruition.

“The last two or three years it has been the same four sides playing every week. This could help present a new culture,” he said.
