The Wauchope Patchwork Quilters will be showcasing members’ talents in a display of more than 100 items this weekend at the Showground pavilion.
The Quilt Show is on Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29, 10am to 4pm and on Sunday April 30 from 10am to 2pm.
Two beautiful quilts will be raffled, with all funds going to Angel Flight Australia. The charity co-ordinates non-emergency flights to help country people to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them, due to distance and high travel costs.
Entry fee is $5 with children under 13 years free. Light refreshments and homemade cooking will also be available.
Several businesses will be in attendance selling patchwork fabrics and related items, paper and other craft equipment and decorated cakes in time for Mothers’ Day.
There is plenty of easy parking on site and it is an all-weather event.
