It took place on Saturday June 17, with the team from Port Macquarie IMF RAW running and walking group winning the relay around Uluru.
The event brought 18 other community teams together from all over Australia with over 130 participants.
Vincent Scott, Zane Sparke, Travis Ferris and Darnell Scott made up the winning team.
Zane placed first in the 5 kilometre adults event and is off to race overseas as he eyes a successful career in marathons.
Scott, who raced alongside his son Darnell, said it was an amazing experience.
“It was one of those trips where you could meet many different people from different communities,” he said.
“This was our first time competing. To go there on our first trip and to come away with a great overall team result is something we’re quite proud of.”
