The group has secured an occupational permit for the purpose of mountain bike riding through the park.
The Jolly Nose Mountain Bike Park will be opened to the public in a community event on Sunday, July 2 from 10am until 2pm at Spring Creek Road.
The mountain bike trails in the permit area are under management of the Hastings Valley Mountain Bike Riders in partnership with Forestry Corporation of NSW.
There will also be 16 specialised mountain bikes available for people to try out on the day if they do not have their own.
To get to the event people should turn off Houston Mitchell Drive onto Spring Creek Road.
People should follow the road for a couple of kilometres and park their vehicle near the exit to the rollercoaster trail.
