It is not easy for local governments as they can never please everyone. As a long-term resident and ratepayer, I believe our council is made up of a team of good people, who live amongst us and strive to do a good job for our community.

Yes, our Council is not perfect, but faults should not be magnified. Overall, I believe the team gets more things right than wrong.

I believe Ms Pinson’s campaign is so negative, I wonder how she could even imagine being an effective Mayor, considering her apparent low opinion of the work of some staff and councillors.

Like many in our community, I am delighted to hear that Lisa Intemann has declared that she will run for Mayor. Lisa is independent, experienced, and brings a thorough understanding of the complexities of Local Government.
