Alliance Airlines’ decision to fly to Port Macquarie and continue the service previously provided by Virgin Australia delivers a range of benefits to residents, businesses and visitors alike.
Passengers travelling to and from Brisbane will now experience shorter travel times, increased customer comforts such as large overhead lockers, and direct taxi to the terminal gate on arrival at Brisbane airport.
The new service will also include the addition of Sunday evening flights, perfect for that weekend getaway to the big smoke and a great positive for our local tourism industry.
With design underway for expansion of Port Macquarie’s airport terminal and taxiway, council is very excited to have community focused partners coming on board to support the growth of our thriving region.
