Ellen Freeman first offered to show visitors at last year’s Comboyne Spring Spectacular how to crack a whip.
It proved to be such a popular part of the showground program that Ellen will be back this year, on Sunday September 24.
So if you or a family member would like to have a go, the times for Ellen’s whip cracking will be around 10.30am and 1.00pm.
She will also have a market stall, displaying all her beautiful leather work.
Ellen's interest in leather work was sparked at a young age whilst spending weekends volunteering at the Timbertown heritage theme park in her home town of Wauchope.
There she worked with the draught horses and bullock team, as well as being surrounded by a variety of traditional crafts.
It was here that she began doing stock whip repairs, learning as she went, before moving on to harness and saddlery pieces, finding an ability and love for leather work.
E.L.Freeman Leather Goods & Saddlery was established in 2013 by Ellen Freeman in Wauchope.
