As part of the school's celebrations for its 150th anniversary, it is selling special pavers which will go into the new multi-million pound school building.
“We are hoping as many past and present students and WPS staff as possible purchase a paver for the bargain price of $30,” said school principal, Cameron Osborne.
All orders close on Friday November 24, so the company and architects who are constructing the new 13-classroom building can factor in the correct amount of pavers.
Anyone interested is asked to please complete the form and follow the payment directions as soon as they can.
“Please alert anyone you know who has been associated with our amazing school. An idea for families could be to have your family name eg Osborne and then your children's names and the dates they attended this school eg Jimmy 2011 – 2018 Stephanie 2013 – 2020,” added Mr Osborne.
“An ex staff member may wish to simply have their name or include the dates they worked at WPS. The order form can be found with this newsletter, on both of our Facebook pages and on the school website. P
“lease note that orders will not be taken in 2018. The builders will be presented with the pavers and they include them into the new build,” he said.
