Comboyne Show
Hooves, horsepower and heritage were some of the main themes of the Comboyne show as it returned this year to celebrate its 80th anniversary.
In great tradition, visitors experienced a wonderful array of photos, documents and memorabilia, displaying the history of the Comboyne plateau.
The arena was a hive of activity showcasing local early cars and tractors and all day events featuring the magnificent Clydesdales.
Championship dog show, poultry show, many exhibitions including craft, cooking, product and flower displays, and market stalls showcased the essence of what it means to be community.
Congratulations to Rod, Susan, Michael and Vickie Fisher who were awarded life membership in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the show. It is a great privilege to be recognised by your community with life membership and is very well deserved.
You don’t need a reason to go to Comboyne, just head up one weekend and enjoy: it's a lovely rainforest drive with delightful mountain scenery complete with waterfalls ready for you to explore. For more visit portmacquarieinfo.com.au
