Sheeran has announced stadium tours of Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide for March 2018 and the race for premium tickets kicked off at 2pm on May 16.
The ticket frenzy was no match for the hysteria Sheeran caused in little old Laurieton this time last year when he dropped in to the Bollywood Indian Restaurant for a bite to eat.
One lucky diner managed a selfie with the global singing superstar and the internet almost exploded.
Fans hit the streets to search for the superstar after we posted THAT photo on social media. But Sheeran had enjoyed a curry and moved on before anyone realised he was here.
This time, we are going to be prepared.
In 2018, Sheeran performs in Adelaide on March 7 before heading to Sydney for what is expected to be a sell-out show on March 16. He does not need to be in Brisbane until four days later, there is a weekend in between and the Pacific Highway runs right by our front door.
So, Ed Sheeran, here is your official invite.
Come back to Laurieton for a curry. We promise we won’t make a fuss. We will even pre-book a table in your name.
RSVP when you can. We will polish the cutlery.
And just to remind you how much we love having you here in the Hastings, we will get your fans onboard.
Bring Ed home!

How can he possibly say no.
Tickets for his 2018 Australia tour will officially go on sale to the general public on May 23.
