So the students at Long Flat Public School were pretty quick to accept a recent donation from the members of the Wauchope Garden Club.
The club members wanted to make a donation to the school in support of the students’ understanding of the wonders of the plant world – food and flower.
The students readily accepted the donation.
Club members Debbie Mulligan and Robin Starr visited the school last week presenting the students with three wonderful new citrus trees along with mulch and fertilizer to enhance the school’s already existing wonderful fruit orchard.
Thanks also goes to Hastings Valley Landscapes and Greenbourne Nursery for their part in the donation.
The student will enjoy the fruits of the trees for many years to come.
