Tess Cooper gave up the grog at the start of July and has raised an amazing $1,100.
The Wauchope woman swapped her daily beer and wine for tea, and was helped by her employer, Kylie Hackney at Curly’s Cafe.
Together, they held a Devonshire tea and auctioned items.
Tess managed to raise a total of $1,125 to buy computers to help educate two children in Papua New Guinea
“I’d like to thank Kylie, and Curlys, and the people of Wauchope who helped me by being so generous,” said Tess.
She has stayed off the drink and now goes to the gym twice a week and loves being healthier.
