Money raised from the event went towards a camp on the North Coast where the deaf students and their teachers from the Department of Education enjoy activities, catch up with their friends and form long term friendships.
The camp helps with student education and social development.
Over 60 people attended the fashion parade and high tea on September 9. They helped to raise over $600 to help with the cost of the camp.
The compere of the event was former Miss Australia Karen Pini.
The event was at the Kendall Services Club and attendees were entertained by the lovely voice of Rose.
