Captain Matt Day admitted their performance last week wasn’t good enough.
“We need to get back on track this weekend because last week was really disappointing,” he said.
Their task won’t be helped through the absence of Matt Miller and Nigel McKenna, although Aaron Hagenbach returns and Al Morris will also get his chance.
“Al scored an 80-odd in third grade so he’ll come in along with someone else,” Day said.
With Miller and McKenna to miss the trip south, it puts further pressure on some of the more senior players.
“I’ll look to Bailey Smith, Blythey and the burglar Tony Brown to step up for us.”
Taree West were defeated by Rovers by three wickets last weekend and will also want to return to the winners circle.
“We’ve lost two in a row and even though the Port City game didn’t feel like a loss, we need to bounce back.”
