The Camden Haven community is invited to sing in true Christmas spirit at a number of events this weekend.

Carols by Candlelight in Laurieton is on December 8 at Longworth Park and singing starts at 6.30pm. The Camden Haven Concert Band and adult beginner band Stick with Us have been rehearsing in the lead up to the event. Rotary barbecue will be available and cold drinks for sale. If it’s raining the event will be in the School of Arts Hall. Admission is free.
Carols by the Lake at Lake Cathie is on December 9 from 5pm. There will be performances from Lake Cathie Public School and Young Guns Concert Band. Lions barbecue van will be open for food. Santa will also make a special appearance. Admission is free.
Kendall will host its event on December 9 at the showground from 5pm. It has been organised by Kendall Men’s Shed. There will be a sausage sizzle, ice creams and coffee available to purchase. All money raised from the event will go towards Kendall Public School’s Learn to Swim program. Concert begins at 6pm . People are asked to bring a picnic blanket and chairs. This event is alcohol free.
Carols at Bonny Hills is on December 10 at the grassed area of the Wauchope-Bonny Hills SLSC from 5pm. There will be performances from Camden Haven Concert Band, HATCH, North Haven Public School band and St Joseph’s Primary School Laurieton choir. There will be a barbecue and Santa will be there. Admission is free.
