The release of 46 new home sites in Sovereign Hills’ growing College Rise precinct has been welcomed by the Port Macquarie community.

The latest release is within walking distance to the popular St Joseph’s Regional College and the future Sovereign Hills town centre development.

Known as College Rise Stage 2, the latest release is situated near the Joeys Meadow parkland and is expected to sell quickly.

“This is a perfect chance for buyers to secure an elevated home site in the established College Rise precinct,” Lewis Land Group’s Head of National Sales and Marketing Robert Challenger said.

“This release continues our promise to supply affordable, attractive, conveniently-located land to the fast-growing Port Macquarie-Hastings community and beyond.”

College Rise resident Ash Wetherspoon couldn’t be happier with her decision to build her first home in the Sovereign Hills community. It takes the manager of the Stirling Green Café less than four minutes to drive to work and she is loving the friendly neighbourhood.

This release continues our promise to supply affordable, attractive, conveniently-located land to the fast-growing Port Macquarie-Hastings community and beyond.

“We chose Sovereign Hills because it allowed my husband and I to build a beautiful first home without compromising on the size or features,” she shared.

“We have an excellent location overlooking the park, it’s a safe environment, we have lovely neighbours and it’s nice to be part of a community from the get go.”

Sovereign Hills is now home to more than 300 families, and developer Lewis Land Group recently announced plans to build Stage 1 of the Sovereign Hills town centre development at the junction of Main Street and John Oxley Drive.

The 4500sq.m convenience centre is the initial stage of 25,000sqm of retail, commercial and community space.

Stage 1 will include a full-line supermarket, medical centre and pharmacy, supported by specialty stores, and is anticipated to open in late 2019.

The Wetherspoons are among locals looking forward to seeing the development take shape.

“Just the convenience of having everything there at our fingertips without having to head into town will be great.”
