The Biodiversity Strategy aims to help direct investment to protect biodiversity in this region.
The strategy also brings together different stakeholder groups including government, education, private individuals and community groups to attract funding and deliver projects that make a difference to our local environment.
The Council’s Ecologist, Dr Rebecca Montague-Drake will be presenting key aspects of the strategy, and will be available to answer questions on specific locations across the region.
The Biodiversity Strategy Information Session in Wauchope is at 4pm on Tuesday January 23 in the Rosewood Room at the Wauchope RSL Club. RSVP: Thursday January 18 by return email or calling 02 65 864 465
Anyone wanting to know more about a particular site should provide the location before the meeting by contacting 02 65 864 465 or office@hastingslandcare.org.au
