In the January 10 edition of the Camden Haven Courier it was reported that couple Yvonne and Bill Tompsett were thrilled to be visited by a family of tawny frogmouths in December, 2017.
Yvonne said unfortunately the family had left their front garden and suspected it was due to storms which had impacted the area.
Linda said she wanted the Tompsetts to know that their beautiful family is staying together.
“They spent about eight days in my Red Cedar tree, from late December to early January,” she said.
For the past 10 years Linda said her property has been a native bird sanctuary.
“An occasional visiting owl is not unusual,” she said.
“However a family of four Tawny Frogmouths staying in the same tree for so long has not happened before.”
