Special guest was Emma Jeffrey, Principal School Leadership with the NSW Department of Education and Communities.
“I think it’s a fabulous opportunity to build a structure in terms of what roles people play,” she said.
“This is my first time visiting this beautiful community and meeting the students, and I look forward to coming back at the end of the school year to find out how they got on.”
School principal Maurice Cook says the Parliament provides a lot of leadership for people at a young age.
“The parliament is elected by students for the governance of the school student body. Students have portfolios that they represent, like health, transport and sports,” he explained.
Congratulations are extended to the following Parliament members for 2018:
Cooper Farrington, Mackenzie Moreta, Ruby Smallie, Beau Stackman, Samuel Fozzard, Willem Van Beest, Brooke Smith and Abby Ostler.
