The weigh in was at the bowling club on Sunday, April 1, where fishos were commended for their efforts.
Secretary Melissa Ward said despite it not being in the school holidays, there was a fabulous turnout.
“We had a great roll up with well over 100 families coming in to weigh in fish for both kiddies and adults categories,” she said.
Melissa said the weekend produced spectacular sunny conditions to coincide with the classic.
There was a raffle table and barbecue on the day which made it fun time for all who attended.
Caitlin Trenaman was the winner of the largest bream and mullet for Juniors.
Other Junior winners were Coby Reeves (flathead) and Brodie Taggard (whiting).
Adult winners included Ben Heagney (morwong), Zac Heagney (mullet), Col Trenaman (leather jacket and tailor), Jim Ward (flathead & teraglin), Dave Thorncraft (bonito & snapper), Melinda Delmas (luderick), Trevor Green (bream & whiting), Jamie Gentles (pearl perch).
Peter Hayes won $100 for the biggest fish not on the list (a spotted mackeral 6.759kgs).
