To assist in the planning of maintenance works to Kindee Bridge, a full closure is required to conduct investigations and assess the bridge’s current condition.

The temporary closure of Kindee Rd at the bridge to all traffic will occur on Tuesday between 9am and 3pm.

An elevated work platform will be set up on the bridge deck to safely conduct the investigations, and road side signage has been installed advising of the bridge closure.

Residents of Kindee will be able to use Pipeclay Road as an alternate means of access.

The council thanks the local community for their cooperation and patience during the closure, as work to improve the safety of our region’s roads and bridges continues.

The Kindee Bridge maintenance works form part of the council’s Bridgeworks Maintenance Program being rolled out across the Port Macquarie-Hasting region.
