The event runs at Westport Park on Saturday April 14 between 9am and 1pm.
Participants collect rubbish in return for tokens to be traded for pre-loved clothes and goods.
There are also talks with an environmental flavour and live music.
Port Macquarie Seaside Scavenge Chapter leader Karen Fulton encouraged people to come along on April 14.
“Be part of the community and see what changes we can make together,” she said.
Participants are in the running to win prizes.
At the 2017 event, 160 people picked up 246.5kg of rubbish from Bonny Hills to Settlement Point.
