Melbourne-based sisters Maggie Rigby (banjo, ukulele, guitar and vocals) and Elsie Rigby (violin, ukulele and vocals) along with cellist Monique Clare will indulge their love of three-part vocal harmony.
They are fast making a name for themselves in the Australian and international music scene.
The girls’ performance at Wauchope will feature tracks from their latest album, Take Care Take Cover.
The Rigby sisters grew up steeped in music. Maggie and Elsie played in their family band and spent their childhood going to music festivals and camps, choir rehearsals and concerts.
Take Care Take Cover was recorded in Nashville Tennessee with producer and engineer Erick Jaskowiak (Crooked Still, Tim O’Brien, Darrell Scott, The Waifs), and released in April 2017.
The Maes played at the River Folk and Cullulleraine Music Festivals on their way to Wauchope, and are heading for the East Coast Music Awards in Halifax Canada and the revered Orkney Folk Festival.
