The Rotary GSE program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange for business and professional men and women aged 25 to 40 years, who are in the early years of their working lives.
The program provides for vocational study groups of four non-Rotarian team members and one Rotarian team leader to travel in the exchange Rotary District (in this case Denmark) for four weeks, staying in the homes of Rotarians there. Team members are selected from across Rotary District 9650.
“This is an opportunity for you to exchange ideas, experience cultural differences (people, languages, diversity and institutions) that can be shared with your fellow workers/business on your return and implement valuable learnings from your experience on exchange that will encourage individual growth and business creativity,” said Neville Parsons, president of the Rotary Club of Wauchope.
The team will arrive in Denmark on August 30 2018 to begin their vocational exchange on September 1 2018. During the exchange, the team will take part in Rotary meetings and give presentations on the team members’ vocations as well as Australia.
To be eligible for selection you must:
- have been employed for at least two years in any recognised business, trade or profession (full-time preferred)
- work and live in Rotary District 9650 and be an Australian citizen
