AUTUMN TREAT: Delicious with a cuppa, gingernut biscuits. Thanks to Jean Lyne for the recipe and photo.
INGREDIENTS:
- 125 gm butter
- 3/4 cup syrup
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 heaped dessertspoon powdered ginger
- Pinch nutmeg & salt
METHOD:
- Melt butter and syrup together.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Stand mixture for 10 minutes.
- Spoon onto lined trays and cook at 150 for 10-15 minutes
