In his bid to raise at least $2,000 Mr Robinson is hosting fundraiser barbecues at Wauchope IGA and has a raffle at Wauchope SUPA IGA Plus Liquor Store.
Supporters can also donate directly at www.leadersleapportmacquarie.gofundraise.com.au
“As a father of three, I think it’s so important to support this cause and that it remains a free service to those in need,” Mr Robinson said.
“You never know when any of us may need the service in a crisis. “They do such a great job carrying out 1,500 missions per year, including five per week here on the Mid North Coast.”
The next fundraiser BBQ is this Friday May 18 from 10am to 2pm at Wauchope IGA. Raffle tickets will also be on sale, with first prize being a Nintendo Switch, second prize a Samsung Tab S2 and third is a Bago Bluff and Cassegrain Wines hamper.
Hastings Co-op has also thrown its support behind the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service by inviting its 300 employees to make donations each week from their pay.
