The 2017-18 Hyundai A-League grand finalists will return to the Mid North Coast between July 16-18 in between returning from China and departing for Spain.
Two Football Mid North Coast representative sides will clash with the Jets on July 17 at Regional Stadium.
It follows the success of last year’s visit.
Petratos, along with former teammate Andrew Nabbout were in the Hastings 12 months ago.
The 25-year-old has been named in the Socceroos squad for matches against France (June 16), Denmark (June 21) and Peru (June 27).
FMNC chairman Mike Parsons said it was a statement from the Jets that reinforced the relationship between the two organisations which had been created and strengthened over the last 12 months.
“This is just another chapter in the book of our game and another example of the strength of our game,” Parsons said.
“I’m overwhelmed and speechless they would reciprocate in the manner that they have.
“It’s indicative of the fact we’ve been supportive and had this relationship with the Jets when they were cellar-dwellers in the A-League.
“Now they’ve risen towards the top of the table and are a force to be reckoned with, it’s an acknowledgement of that relationship that we’ve fostered over the last few years.”
A crowd of 4100 attended the corresponding fixture in August last year.
“I’m anticipating with the Jets current success we can get an even bigger crowd,” Parsons said.
A sports breakfast will be held on Wednesday morning following the game, before players will attend junior coaching clinics afterwards.
This is just another chapter in the book of our game.
