The event is on for three days and begins on Tuesday, August 7. There is a meet and greet event at the Kew Country Club from 6pm on Monday, August 6. About 160 golfers are expected to play each day.
The days are split into different divisions across 18 holes for stroke play, stableford and foursomes.
There will be a presentation night on Wednesday, August 8 at the Laurieton United Services Club.
Pam said the local branch of the WGCNC applied to host the tournament in July, 2015.
“The opportunity to host a tournament doesn’t come around very often,” she said.
“We were over the moon when we were told.”
Pam said the Kew Golf Club committee had been working hard over the last few weeks to ensure the event runs smoothly.
“I’ll be doing the sun dance in the weeks leading up to the tournament,” she said.
Women’s Golf Central North Coast is a non profit organisation, which provides a range of golfing experiences, on a variety of courses and for all levels of players.

Each year the WGCNC puts on two tournaments including a senior tournament for those over 50 years and an open tournament for all ages.
Pam said entries to the tournament close on July 13. For more information please contact Kew Golf Club captain Jean Ramsey on 6559 8717.
The Kew Ladies Golf Club is open to new members.
“We’re one of the smallest clubs but we’re bound to be one of the happiest,” Pam said.
