The two day event, July 14-15, is the main event of the year for those who love looking and tinkering with machines of all types and sizes.
A record number of people coming through the gates is predicted over the weekend with people coming from all over NSW to visit.
One of the organisers, Mark Johnston, said on day one he was very happy with how the show was going.
“I think we are all very pleased with how many people have come though the showgrounds on day one,” Mr Johnson said.
“Usually it rains on the scheduled weekend but the weather at the moment is bloody brilliant so we are all thrilled.
“Each year the event gets bigger and better, and this year we really have something for everyone to enjoy.”
He said the addition of the swap meet has also been a great boost for numbers.
“From the swap meet, trucks, bulldozers and tractors to the engines, bikes and tools you would be hard pressed to not find something to enjoy,” he said.
“The other great thing about the Yesteryear show is that all the money raised goes right back into the local Wauchope community.
“This year we are raising money for four local charities and it is so great the community are coming to support us again this year.”
The Yesteryear Truck and Machinery Show is at the Wauchope Showground on Saturday July 14 from 9am until 4pm and Sunday July 15 from 9am until 2pm.
Admission is $8 per adult while children under 12 years are admitted free.
