Tickets are on sale now from the club, and you can dance the night away to five decades of the greatest hits of all time, and help raise funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
“The first Jukebox Saturday night Live for over a decade on the Mid North Coast will be at the Wauchope RSL Club on Saturday July 28,” said Richard McGovern, who is community liaison officer for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
“It was an event I used to run in my radio days when I was with the station which is now Triple M. I thought this might be a good opportunity to bring back something that was so iconic on the Mid North Coast.
“It’s going to be another great event for people over the age of 35, with hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s through to today’s greatest hits. We’d like to thank Coca-Cola for jumping on board, and the Wauchope RSL Club for hosting it,” added Richard.
“It’s a great cause, the disco has a wonderful history and it’s a great community event to get involved in,” said Coca-Cola’s district sales manager, Jason Fletcher.
Tickets cost $25 and are available from the RSL club, or on the night, and doors open at 7pm. There will be prizes and giveaways and the organisers hope it will be the first disco of many around our region.
There will be free double tickets to be won on the Wauchope Gazette Facebook page.
