Speaking on a visit to Port Macquarie, Senator Keneally told our newspaper that she believes Bill Shorten will lead Labor to victory in the next Federal election, and to a transformative government.
“We have seen wages stagnating, we have seen the cost of housing increase, we are seeing the cost of electricity increase. We are seeing inequality growing,” she told the Port Macquarie News.
“People are working harder and harder and and they’re getting further and further behind. They know they are not sharing in the profits that millionaires and our banks are getting.
“Our big banks and corporates are getting tax breaks. It’s unfair. Labor says it’s unfair and those are the things we’re fighting on in this next election,” said the senator.
