The Mini Vinnies at St Joeys are determined to make a difference and each year, the school holds a winter appeal to support the needy in the Wauchope community.

Some of the generous grandparents and parents knit beanies and scarves, while other donated good quality, secondhand jumpers, jeans and blankets.
“Our focus is to think of others before ourselves, remembering that there are many local families in need. As a Mini Vinnies team and a school we make a difference more by our actions than by our words,” said teacher Maria Wilson.
