The Rural Fire Service is advising drivers to take extra care when driving near hazard reduction burns close to Wauchope and Old Bar.

Forestry staff are carrying out a burn in Bago Forest 7km south of Wauchope, and in a state forest near Old Bar. Both are under control.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, keep windows up and turn headlights on.
Hazard reduction burns are one way of preparing for bushfires.
A program of burns has been undertaken on the North Coast since Easter.
These included Lansdowne, Johns River and Lorne State forests.
