John Richard Reynolds, 72 of Crestwood Drive, appeared in Port Macquarie Local Court on Thursday August 9.
Reynolds was charged with using an offensive weapon with the intent to commit an indictable offence; affray; and reckless grievous bodily harm.
The charges relate to an incident that allegedly occurred between 9.20am and 9.40am on February 24, 2018.
An apprehended violence order will continue to September 20.
Magistrate J Price adjourned all matters to September 20 in the Port Macquarie Local Court.
