The event on Friday August 10 was a great success and a massive effort from everyone.
Staff and students dressed up and donated money and groceries towards this worthy cause.
“We raised $2000 to go to the Buy A Bale drought appeal (for hay, water, diesel and other essentials) and packed about 40 boxes of groceries,” said principal, Cameron Osborne.
“Thank you to all our staff and families. A big thank you to Slade Transport who are taking our groceries up to the Salvation Army at Tamworth to be distributed to drought-stricken families our west.”
