Blackbutt Park in Wauchope echoed with excitement during the B Grade game. Hastings River Pirates jumped to an early lead which they kept till the fifth innings.
Wauchope Giants, sensing defeat as time ticked away, kicked into overdrive, scoring four runs to win the game 11 runs to Pirates 10.

On Pirates page Lachlan Barnes pitched a brilliant game 4.2 Innings 12 hits 5 K 6 walks. This went a long way to earning him the MVP of the Grand final.
A grade Hastings River Pirates went into the game as favourites. The game progressed fairly evenly till the sixth innings, when Giants hit up a storm scoring 9 runs to advance the score to Giants 16 Pirates 6.

Batting Giants Adam Pelley, Greg McPhee, Adrian Sippel, Michael Pelley with three hits a piece. Ben Hanington, David George, Luke Hawkes two each and Bailey Smith also hitting safe.
Adam Pelley was awarded Player of the A Grand final.
