They may not be tall and dark but they are handsome in every way.
They would surely like to strut their stuff for some young hens who will appreciate their crowing. However, because of their chatty ways they are not suited to urban living, so will be in need of a residence with acreage.
Cluck Rogers is a bantam type of unknown breeding and has been raised and handled by children in his previous home. Because of this he is great to handle and loves to strut his stuff. While in RSPCA care he has been an utter gentleman and has enjoyed a cuddle or two.
Sherlock Combs is bigger than his friend, but he too has been handled well by children. He has the most stunning tail feathers and is happy for a cuddle as well.
Both boys have lived together without any fighting issues so can be rehomed together or separately with some young chickens to look after.
These boys deserves good homes and at only $5 each would make a great learning experience for your little ones.
The RSPCA shelter at 10 Karungi Crescent is open six days a week from 10am until 3.30pm and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, or call 6581 0380 for more details on these gorgeous guys.
