In Wauchope there have been a number of fundraising activities and behind-the-scenes efforts to help make a difference.
One effort is from the community within TG's Child Care Centre.
The three child care campuses in Wauchope have been hard at work raising money for the cause.
The campuses held a successful dress like a farmer day with $496 raised.
The hay and mineral blocks were delivered to a cattle stud in Bunnan in the Upper Hunter Valley on the weekend.
The delivery was made possible by the Hamilton family.
A TG's spokesperson said a raffle is currently being orgasnised to raise more funds.
