It is believed to be the first time the club has hosted the titles.
Little As secretary Leanne Farrington said the club secured the titles for a number of reasons.
"Wauchope is centrally located on the Mid-North Coast and has excellent facilities and field," she said.
"We also have the space, capacity and ability to run the event through the support of Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and associated community groups.
"The club put a strong argument forward and we were able to convince the zone committee that we were the right committee to host this event."
Leanne said the Wauchope club had already started working with council to upgrade the facilities if required.
She said some work, including repairing the long jump pits to meet regulation and realigning the track to meet Athletics Australia standards, had been completed.
"We will also be constructing a temporary second discus cage and moving the current cage to meet needs," she added.
The club will also site a storage container at the popular complex. Additional parking options have also been identified.
The Wauchope Little Athletics boasts some 100 members and is the highest on the Mid-North Coast for member retention and the third highest in the state.
"As a club, we are looking forward to hosting this event," the secretary said.
"Parents of children competing will be allocated a two hour block to assist over the two days.
"Westpac Rescue Helicopter Support Group and Wauchope Lions will share the barbeque operations over the two days."
